The U.S. Under-15 Girls’ National Team will hold its third camp of 2016 when it comes together in Portland, Oregon, from May 28-June 4.

The camp will be run by U.S. U-15 GNT head coach Mark Carr, who has called up 26 players, almost all born in 2001 with one born in 2002. This age group will be the U-15 GNT this year before transitioning to U-17s in 2017, and will form the core of the team that will attempt to qualify for the 2018 U-17 Women’s World Cup that FIFA recently awarded to Uruguay.

Of the 26 players on the roster, 22 hail from seven states: California (5), Georgia (4), North Carolina (3), New Jersey (3), Texas (3), Hawaii (2) and Michigan (2).

The training camp will be held concurrently with a U.S. Under-16 Girls’ National Team training camp and the two squads will scrimmage against each other several times during the week.
