While soccer camps throughout the United States come in all shapes and sizes, most of them have the same expressed goal of preparing young players for college soccer.  With that ideal in mind, no camp better prepares young men for the collegiate playing experience than the Elite 300 Soccer Academy sessions. Led by college and MLS coaches with the highest levels of experience, the Elite 300 program provides an accurate window within which developing players can see what life as a college soccer player is all about.

The camp has a large staff of collegiate coaches in addition to many current NCAA players who give direction and advice as counselors. Once everyone arrives, the campers are split into teams and put under the guidance of two coaches. Told to treat the campers exactly as if they were their own team, the coaches help push the players’ limits and provide valuable insight into their play. Aided by the counselors, campers will also get to see first hand what playing college soccer is really like and will get a sense of the balance that must be struck between athletics and academics at a university.

Many top soccer programs are represented at the Elite 300 camp, including 2013 Division I NCAA Tournament participants like University of Pennsylvania, Georgetown University, University of Louisville and Drexel University as well as top Division III programs such as Swarthmore, Bowdoin, Connecticut College, and Carnegie Mellon, giving players the top quality instruction around.  Also, as the camp is held at the beautiful campus of Swarthmore College in Pennsylvania, players will experience life at school during the weeklong session. With close proximity to Philadelphia, travelling to the camp is very convenient whether the player is arriving via train, plane, or car.

Beyond playing on the field, the campers will learn a great deal about the NCAA recruiting process and its rules from the college coaches’ panel held during each session. Another unique highlight is a lecture by Swarthmore’s Dr. Ciaran Dalton, a sports psychologist, regarding maximizing one’s performance and playing soccer at your best level.

"Elite 300 exposed me to a wide variety of coaches, playing styles, and programs, so that I entered the college process much more educated. It helped to educate me on different types of schools and how to make myself most qualified to attend a school I wanted to. Ultimately, it gave me a platform to continue to play the sport I love at an incredible school. The biggest thing that sets the Elite 300 apart is the accessibility of the coaches. At many camps, I found that the coaches were only there for themselves to help them find the players they wanted for their programs. At Elite 300, I felt very comfortable talking to any coach in any setting about myself as a player and their teams. Further, Elite 300 had the most professional environment of any camp I attended, along with the best staff of coaches." - Geli Carabases, 2009 Elite 300 All-Star, Swarthmore `14

One of the great things about the Elite 300 Soccer Academy has been its consistent legacy that has extended beyond a full decade of success.  With a regular group of coaches, the camp has developed a recurring program that has a proven track record and gets the best results for players. Not only do youngsters get a chance to learn from players and coaches from a variety of colleges, but they may even draw some recruiting interest from a particular coach.

And while college recruitment is vital for high school aged campers, the Elite 300 Juniors Program now invites players entering 6th-8th grade to attend the camp as well. An insightful and beneficial place for top young players to see what their future in the sport holds, the Elite 300 Juniors is held alongside the older edition and enables middle-school aged boys a chance to not only learn a great deal about soccer, but also see what the older players are working on in the next field over.

So instead of spending your summer months wondering how you can go about getting noticed for college soccer or learning about where you should work on to improve, spend your time at the most valuable camp in the nation, the Elite 300 Soccer Academy. Led by some of the NCAA’s finest coaches and with a long track record of proven success, this is the place where you can take your game to the next level and beyond!
