The latest 2023 Men’s Division I Recruiting Class Rankings update is out today, examining the top incoming classes for this year.

Late commitments, pro signings, transfers and international additions remain in play for the new season. Players continue to weigh up their opportunities as the 2023 campaign draws closer month by month.

1. Saint Louis (1)

Commitments: D Carlos Leatherman (Minnesota United FC – No. 65), F Marcos Moore (Rise SC – No. 74), D Cole Dougherty (Solar SC – No. 82), M Jack Sullivan (Colorado Rapids – No. 123), F Tanner Anderson (St. Louis Scott Gallagher – No. 182), M Axel Torres (Rise SC)

Transfers: D Galen Flynn (Fordham), F Matt Wrobel (St. Bonaventure), D Lawson Redmon (Indiana), M Diego Konincks (Campbell)

It’s an extremely strong class up and down the field for SLU. Moore was the United Soccer Coaches club player of the year, and is arguably the top striker in the class.

2. UCLA* (2)

Commitments: D Mateo Pinilla (Houston Dynamo – No. 24), M Bryan Moyado (Los Angeles FC – No. 31), GK Wyatt Nelson (Seattle Sounders – No. 43), F Jacob Diaz (LAFC), F Samuel Scott (Solar SC)

The Bruins announced five additions, and will hope the quartet of players from pro academies make t to Westwood. Samuel Scott is slated to join from Texas side Solar. Moyado has the look of a top college talent and will play minutes in MLS NEXT PRO this year.

3. Georgetown* (3)

Commitments: M Mateo Ponce Ocampo (FC Westchester – No. 52), D Oliver Stafford (NYCFC – No. 83), M Eric Howard (Crossfire Premier – No. 130), M Matthew Van Horn (Shattuck St. Mary’s – No. 144), M John Heaps (Alabama FC), M Matthew Helfrich (Bethesda SC)

Six players were confirmed via a Twitter announcement. Georgetown only loses one starter from this fall’s squad, setting them up for a strong platform for 2023.
