TULSA, Oklahoma — The road to Oklahoma leads here. Finally.
After a number of grueling months encompassing state and regional tournaments, the elite of the elite found their way to the plains of northeastern Oklahoma on Tuesday to kick off the US Youth Soccer National Championships. Boys and girls sides from the U13-U19 ages soared into action for the first time on Tuesday, with the aim of hopefully lifting a trophy - the ultimate trophy, at the end of the week.
TopDrawerSoccer.com is on site all week with hands-on coverage of the event, and that starts here and now. Each day we’ll release a rundown of the day’s top performers and a blurb on their exploits. Here’s Tuesday’s bumper crop.
