Goals of The Week: October 23-30
There were six touches between UMBC's center back lofting a pass downfield and Ryan Becher lashing the ball into the next. And not once did the ball hit the ground. Becher received a headed pass 25 yards out, flicking it onto his right foot. For half a second, it looked like the forward might overrun it, misjudged his touch. But the opposing defender stepped, forcing Becher to try the spectacular. He flicked the ball over the defender and watched it drop welcomingly onto his right foot. The resulting shot was clinical, flying over the goalkeeper and into the right corner.
