USC women's soccer welcomes a standout new Trojan with the addition of Notre Dame transfer Morgan Andrews.

"We are excited to get such an extremely talented player to add to our roster," said head coach Keidane McAlpine. "Through this process, I have been equally as impressed with her as a person. This is a win for the Trojans, but also a win for the Pac-12."

A highly-talented midfielder, Andrews bring extensive international experience with the U.S. National Team ranks, as well as a plethora of experience at the collegiate level, as she started every game during her time at Notre Dame (44 games). She will have two years of eligibility with the Trojans.

As a sophomore in 2014, she started all 22 games, and led the team for the second-straight season with 17 points. She tallied six goals and added five assists as she was selected a Second Team All-ACC honoree and helped lead the Irish to a third-round NCAA Tournament appearance.

As a freshman in 2013, she was tied for the team lead with seven goals and her five assists gave her a team-high 19 points. Her success earned her multiple postseason honors, including Soccer America All-Freshman First Team honors, Top Drawer Soccer Freshman Best XI First Team and ACC Freshman of the Year.

Andrews has been a mainstay with several U.S. Soccer youth national teams since 2008 when she debuted with the U-14 Girls National Team. She rose through the U.S. Soccer Youth National Team ranks, participating in various international tournaments, friendlies, and/or camps for the U-15, U-17, U-20 and U-23 teams. She earned a combined 10 caps during 2013-14 Under-20 National Team cycle. In January 2014 she was a member of the U.S. squad that won CONCACAF U-20 Championship in the Cayman Islands where she appeared in all five matches and earned three starts while dishing out three assists in three wins.

For three summers Andrews was on roster for the New England Mutiny in the Women's Premier Soccer League (WPSL) where she tallied two career goals and three assists while starting eight matches.

She played club soccer for eight years with FC Stars of Massachusetts, where she led various age-group teams to both the USYS National Championship Series and Elite Clubs National League (ECNL) National Championships semifinals twice. She was also a member of the Region I ODP team in 2008 and 2009.

The 5-foot-9 Andrews prepped for four seasons Milford High School where she tallied 114 goals and 53 assists, setting school and conference records for career goals. She led MHS to its first state title (Division II) in 2012. Among her impressive list of accolades include being named the Gatorade National High School Soccer Player of the Year twice (2012, 2013) and the overall Gatorade National High School Female Athlete of the Year in 2013.
