Three Louisville men's soccer players earn All-BIG EAST accolades for
the 2008-09 season.  Freshman Colin Rolfe became the first player in
Louisville history to earn a major BIG EAST award, earning BIG EAST
Rookie of the Year honors.  Senior Aaron Clapham earned first team
All-BIG EAST honors and sophomore defeneder Austin Berry earned second
team All-BIG EAST honors.

Rolfe made an immediate impact on the Cardinals attack this season.
The freshman forward is tied for first on the team with five goals and
12 points, which also includes two assists. Rolfe netted two
gamewinners, had five multiple-point games and played in all but one
game this season. In 10 league games, Rolfe scored two goals and added
an assist for five points. He had a three-point effort, notching a goal
and an assist in Louisville's 2-1 upset over then-No. 4/6 St. John's on
Oct. 4, for their only regular-season loss.

Clapham becomes just the second player in Cardinal history to earn
first team All-BIG EAST honors. The senior midfielder tops the league
with eight assists.  He is second on the team in scoring with 12 points,
adding two goals.  Clapham ranks third on the all-time season assist
list.

Berry earned second team honors for the first time in his career.  The
sophomore helped the Cardinal defense to four shutouts this season.
Berry ranks sixth on the team in scoring with three goals on the season.
He scored the game-winning goal against Notre Dame on Sept. 28.
