Fifteen to join Gator Soccer in 2015

February 26, 2015

Head Coach Becky Burleigh announced the 15 joining the Gator soccer team for the fall of 2015.

All but one will join the Gators this summer for the start of the 2015 season. Sarah Troccoli of Troy, Michigan, graduated early from high school to enroll at Florida this spring.

The 2014 Gators advanced to the NCAA Quarterfinals and ranked No. 7 on the final National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) poll. The nine-member senior class turned in a four-year record of 71-22-4 (75.3 percent), which ranked No. 7 among the 2014 senior classes.

“We knew we were losing a fantastic senior class and we feel that this class will go a long way in filling some of those shoes,” Burleigh said. “It is a large class with much quality running among them.”
