Golf merchandise is one arena that does a strong job promoting its achievements. Titleist won't show you its golf balls without telling you how many golf tournament wins and major championship victories the balls have accounted for.

But what about soccer?

Well, we can't provide you a statistical breakdown of each brand in each league across the world, but here is a little nugget that may be of interest to you.

Nike, Adidas, and Puma dominate.

This, of course, speaks to the prevalence of Adidas and Nike boots around the globe more than it might give you insight into performance. But then again, if Adidas and Nike are the top choice among professionals that in itself says a little something about how the brands' boots perform, now doesn't it?
