The USYS national champions were crowned in the last few days as the historic tournament reached its conclusion. Here is the Best XI from the U14-U19 girls age group.

GK Simone Hewitt, Evolution SC JahBat 07/08 - Incredibly, the 2029 graduate played up several age groups and did not miss a beat. Standing at 6-foot-tall, Hewitt was a commanding presence that walked away with Golden Glove honors while conceding just twice in six games.

D Sophie Jones, Utah Surf 09 - The Utah side earned four clean sheets in six matches as national champions, and leading the way was Jones, a top-class ball-winner in the backline.

D Leah Krzeszewski, Nationals Union 10 - Earning MVP from center back, Krzeszewski was practically unbeatable as the Michigan-based club lifted the U16 trophy.

D Rilyn Carroll, Fort Wayne United 12 - Marshaling the backline for the national champions, Carroll used her height and anticipation to lead a team that earned a clean sheet in the final.

M Katherine Mason, Utah County Soccer Club 11 - Mason ran riot, delivering four goals and seven assists in a six-game run that led to a national title.

M Lily Greaves, Nationals Union 10 - Whether it was a lopsided game or a nail-biter that went to penalty kicks, Greaves was a reliable force in the championship-winning midfield.

M Marta Lopez, Fort Wayne United 12 - Lopez put on a creative masterclass at the national tournament, whether finding a breathtaking through ball or using her shifty feet to create space for a shot.

M Marissa Hatch, Utah Surf 09 - Utah Surf won the title with a 29-3 goal difference, and helping to dominate the midfield was Hatch, who showed an expertise in finding space.

F Eilley Baker, Utah County Soccer Club 11 - Scoring seven in six games, including twice in the final, Baker was the goal-scoring hero the Utah side needed to lift the U15 trophy.

F Alexander Merriam, Evolution SC JahBat 07/08 - Merriam was at her creative best as she created countless chances for the national champions to earn MVP honors.

F Oaklee Stanford, Utah Surf 09 - The Surf side scored goals for fun at the national tournament, and Stanford, a lethal 5-foot-11 forward with an elite athletic profile, led the way as the competition’s top scorer.
