| Personal Statement: Since the second grade, I’ve worked toward my objective of playing competitive soccer after high school. Through training for my varsity and club teams, I believe I'm developing the physical and mental resilience necessary to succeed at the college level. With the onset of COVID-19 in March 2020, I've also grown through the disappointment of abbreviated seasons, and the need to continue my training on an individual level. This has required me to be flexible in uncertain conditions, and creative in maintaining my fitness and team comradery. I am eager to grow, enjoy building unity on my teams, and am respectful of referees and opponents. Off the field, I closely follow and learn new skills from observing and reading about professional teams, and I look forward to playing with and against players from other regions and countries in college and beyond. |
