2017 Girls IMG Academy Top 150 final update
Prior to the National Letter of Intent Signing Day on Wednesday, TopDrawerSoccer releases the final update to the Girls IMG Academy Top 150 Players for the Class of 2017. The IMG Academy Top 150 is a ranking for the best players from that class. TopDrawerSoccer consults with coaches and scouts across the country to help provide the best ranking as possible.
The new update includes a number of fresh faces who have made considerable leaps in recent months to get into the conversation as immediate difference-makers at the next level. The top of the ranking remains roughly the same with U.S. U17 and U20 Women’s National Team star Ashley Sanchez still at No. 1. Sanchez is one of seven UCLA recruits in the Top 150.
Stanford trio Civana Kuhlmann, Catarina Macario, and Kiara Pickett check in at No. 2, No. 3, and No. 4 respectively. The Cardinal have eight verbal commitments from players in the updated IMG Academy Top 150 Players.
Penn State commit Frankie Tagliaferri rounds out the top five for the Spring 2017 update to the Girls IMG Academy Top 150 for the class of 2017. Outside of the top five, Julie Doyle, Angeline Daly, Samantha Coffey, and Deanne Rose all made jumps in the updated rankings.
