2018 Girls IMG Academy Top 150 update
TopDrawerSoccer’s IMG Academy Top 150 Players for the Girls class of 2018 has been updated. While there has been little movement among the players in the top 10, there has been one major change at the top of the rankings.
No. 1 overall player, Brianna Pinto, has been moved from a four-star recruit to a five-star recruit. She is the only player in this class with that designation. Pinto has been in the spotlight in 2017 as she earned an invite to the Full Women’s National Team camp in January. Pinto became one of the youngest call-ups in modern history with the call from Jill Ellis last month.
Clemson commit Sydney Dawson made the largest jump in the updated rankings. The U.S. U19 Women’s National member checks in at No. 27 in the last update after holding the No. 112 spot in the previous update. Dawson was one of two players from the 2018 class who was part of the U19 WNT camp in January.
Virginia commit Claire Constant also jumps up the rankings in this update. Constant was named to the ECNL Best XI in August after doing well at the National Training Camp. Constant was one of dozens of players to move in the updated rankings.
