2018 Girls Regional Rankings update
Each Friday following the Monday release of an IMG Academy 150 update, we highlight eleven of the regionally ranked players from around the country for that class. All were recommended for their respective regional lists by our network of scouts and coaches.
You can check their rankings as well as all the other regionally ranked players here as we update them throughout the next couple of weeks.

GK Mackenzie Wood, Indiana Fire – Wood is a Northwestern recruit who earned seven clean sheets as the starting goalkeeper for the Fire’s U15s during the 2014-15 season.
D Annie Metzger, Cincinnati United Premier CUP – Metzger attended ODP National Camp in January 2015 and is verbally committed to Cincinnati.
D Abigail Jonathan, PDA – The Syracuse recruit was recognized for her play in central defense at the ECNL showcase event in New Jersey in 2015.
D Julia Ware, West Coast FC – Ware is an outside back for WCFC’s U16s and was recognized as one of the top players at the TDS Unsigned Showcase in 2015. She is verbally committed to Purdue.
D Janae Lee, Legends – The left back was recognized as one of the best players at USYS Nationals in 2014 and 2015, helping her team to a national championship in 2015. She is also a two-time ODP National Camp attendee and a TDS Unsigned Showcase alumna.
D Addison Salz, CASL – Salz, who plays on CASL’s U15 ECNL squad, was a member of the U.S. U14 Girls National Team in 2014 and is a multi-year member of North Carolina ODP.
M Mara Rodriguez, West Florida Flames – Rodriguez began as a discovery player, moving full time from IMG Academy during the 2014-15 season. She was named to the TDS Florida Unsigned Showcase Best XI in January of 2015.
M Sara Bermudez, De Anza Force – Bermudez finished the 2015 regular season as De Anza’s to scorer with 14 goals, then added three more during the ECNL playoffs, earning honorable mention by TDS at the tournament. Bermudez is also a US Clubs Soccer id2 alumna (multiple camps) and a member of the USYS ODP Region IV team.
F/M Brooke Barrett, Atlanta Fire United – Barrett is the leading scorer for AFU’s U16 ECNL team with four goals and four assists in 12 matches, and is a four year member of Georgia ODP and the Region III ODP pool.
F Elayna Grillakis, FC Stars of Mass – Grillakis was the leading scorer in the ECNL New England Division during the 2014-15 season. She is a US Club Soccer id2 alumna and is verbally committed to Providence.
F Makena Silber, Beadling SC – Silber scored seven goals at the USYS Region I championships in 2015, earning a spot on the TDS Best XI for the event. She earned the same recognition from US Soccer at the USYS National Championships a month later. Silber is verbally committed to Illinois.
