2020 Girls Regional Rankings update
The winter 2017 update for the Regional Rankings for the girls class of 2020 is out. The latest edition of the ranking reflects the recent update to the IMG Academy Top 150, which was released on Monday for this high school class. The changes in the national top 150 are reflected in the updated regional ranking.
Outside of the over 30 new players added to the IMG Academy Top 150, there were a number of new players added to the regional rankings as well. World Class FC midfielder Carly Steinberg jumps into the regional rankings at No. 8 in New York. The three-star player from Mahopac looks to be a name to watch in the spring as she leads the World Class FC (ECNL) side.
Solar Chelsea SC midfielder Jenna Bartels jumps into the Texas Regional Rankings at No. 14 in the winter 2017 update. Bartels is one of the key players for Solar Chelsea SC U15, which is 9-1-1 in ECNL play this season.
FC Virginia midfielder Carrie McIntire checks in at No. 9 in the Mid Atlantic winter update for the regional rankings. McIntire’s strong showing at the ECNL National Event in Phoenix drew the attention of the TopDrawerSoccer staff, which helped her placement and star rating.
