2020 Men’s Recruiting Rankings: Early look
For many men’s Division I programs, the work continues to finalize the final editions for 2019. With the looming possibility of committed recruits turning pro, it makes it all the more difficult to project what the 2020 groups may look like.
That hasn’t deterred some programs, who have already been aggressive about recruiting for 2020. There’s a faint picture emerging about what the top classes might look like, although this is going to change dramatically between now and Signing Day later this year.
One thing that’s distinct about the 2020 recruits is the plethora of pro players signed. With the Seattle Sounders aggressively moving players to either the first team or its USL squad, a number of the top 2020 graduates won’t make it to college.
Based off the 2020 IMG Academy Top 150 and the reported verbal commitments, below is a look at the men’s Division I Top 5 recruiting classes.
