Articles will be released every day this week counting down the list from 50 through the first overall player.

40. Alex Freeman – RB – Orlando City SC
DOB: 8/9/2004 | HT: 6-2 | WT: -- | Last Year’s Ranking: 47
Signed in 2022, Freeman’s an outside back prospect that eschewed a commitment to Louisville to pursue pro soccer. His deal is guaranteed through 2025, and he’ll need to take a step forward this season to boost his chances of getting a new deal. An athletic right back, he’s at best second on the depth chart ahead of 2024. If he’s had a good preseason, perhaps he’s able to deputize and reach 500 MLS minutes this season.
