April 21, 2017
Defender John (Holland) Rula is on his way to Wake Forest with the class of 2018.
Rula, a Birmingham, Alabama native, plays his soccer at IMG Academy in Florida. The left-footed defender is capable of playing at the back or in the midfield. He's made 24 starts and appeared in all 25 games this year for IMG's U18 side, which has posted a record of 11-9-5 during the current Dev. Academy season.
The Alabama native made the Olympic Development Program's State Team for the 1999 age group, and twice part of the Region III player pool.
He's the third player to verbally commit to join Wake Forest with the class of 2018, along with Isaiah Parente and Kyle Holcomb.
