Boys 2018 Regional Rankings: Winter Update
Following the winter update to the National Top 150 Players, presented by IMG Academy, for the Boys Class of 2018 on Monday, TopDrawerSoccer released an update to the regional rankings for the class on Thursday.

Portland Timbers Academy’s Akil Watts took over the top spot in the Pacific Northwest region with this update. Watts and his club teammate Adrian Villegas are the top two players in the region. New club teammate Johnny Rodas-Hills is also included in this regional ranking for the first time.
William Richmond moves up the regional rankings in the Northern California & Hawaii region for the winter update. Richmond had a strong showing at the 2017 Boys Development Academy Winter Showcase. He is a recent Stanford commit. California commits Stefan Jung and Jack Singer also make the regional rankings with this update.
Goalkeeper Johan Penaranda is the No. 1 player in the New York region for the winter update. Penaranda was a standout at the recent Youth National Team summit in Florida. He has done well at the club level as well.
