Joel Harrison, Defender, Vancouver Whitecaps
IMG Academy 150: #39
Class: 2017
Commitment: Michigan
One of the most coveted late recruits for the class of 2017, Canadian standout Joel Harrison pledged to join a Big Ten power later this year.
“After evaluating all my options at several different schools, I found that the University of Michigan is the perfect combination of academic and athletic opportunities,” he told TopDrawerSocce.com. “My family and I traveled down to Ann Arbor and were immediately blown away. The soccer setup at Michigan is world-class, the stadium, training facilities, resources and support system are all at the highest level. Every player at Michigan is given the opportunity to succeed because of the tools put in front of them by the athletics department.”
