It was a relatively quiet weekend in the Boys Development Academy. The marque clash came from Southern California where new rivals LA Galaxy and LAFC squared off in the U12, U13, U14, and U15 age groups. LAFC claimed the bragging rights in the U15 age group with a 4-2 win.
Elsewhere, Toronto FC’s U15 side continued its nearly perfect run through the Development Academy with wins over Crew SC Academy and Internationals. Through four games, Toronto FC U15 is 3-0-1 with a plus 23 goal differential.
Sounders Academy went 2-0-1 against Vancouver Whitecaps over weekend. Through three games, the Sounders have yet to drop a game in any age group during the 2018-2019 season. The nearly perfect start could be in jeopardy this upcoming weekend with a trip to Northern California on the agenda for games against San Jose Earthquakes and Sacramento Republic.
