Boys ODP Winter Interregional All-Stars
December 22, 2015
FRISCO, Texas (Dec. 21, 2015) – US Youth Soccer is proud to announce the US Youth Soccer ODP All-Star teams for the 2015 US Youth Soccer Olympic Development Program (US Youth Soccer ODP) Boys Winter Interregional, which recently took place Dec. 17-20 at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla. Of the nearly 75 players that participated in the event, an all-star roster was created for players in the 2000 age group.
The US Youth Soccer ODP Boys Winter Interregional featured players that were selected from US Youth Soccer State Association and Regional level evaluations. Throughout the event players attended training sessions and competed in matches in front of U.S. Soccer national staff and collegiate coaches for the opportunity to be selected to a higher level of play.
A pair of 2015 US Youth Soccer National semifinalists are featured on the all-star roster as Raul and Saul Tinoco's United FA 00 Premier (GA) squad also placed second in the 2014-15 US Youth Soccer National League Blue division. The National League is well represented in the all-star team as Matthew Barresi, Alessandro Castro and Connor Hester all have competed in the event. Evan Donini (Wisconsin) and Christopher Richards (Alabama) have won US Youth Soccer State Cup titles and Jack Ratterman reached the semifinals of the 2015 US Youth Soccer ODP Region IV Championships with Cal North 00. Ratterman was also named to the ODP Region IV tournament team.
With programs in all 55 US Youth Soccer State Associations, US Youth Soccer ODP, the original Olympic development program, is available to any player. US Youth Soccer ODP is the only elite player development program that can claim members of Major League Soccer, the National Women’s Soccer League, and the majority of current and past national and youth national team members, as alumni.
