Live Signing Day Updates

Nov. 12

7:30 am: The window is now officially open for the class of 2026, as players will ink scholarship agreements to play Division I soccer in 2026. A handful of players have reclassified from the class of 2027 already for women's soccer, which could be a factor both today and going forward.

8:30 am: It's an early start in Texas for Mimi Flanagan, one of the first announced signings. The Sting standout is heading to Tennessee, which is preparing for a first-round NCAA Tournament matchup against North Carolina this weekend.

8:50 am: High School All-American Teigan Cunnane is officially set to join Auburn. The New York native is a club standout for World Class FC and was named to the rosters for December's All-American game in Charleston.

9 am: New head coach Colleen Corbin engineered a strong turnaround at Kansas State this season. While the Big 12 side didn't reach the NCAA tournament, a record of 7-6-5 represented significant improvement. The program did rely on the portal last season, but is announcing 2026 additions this morning. That includes Emma Torres Brache, a standout from Florida.

9:30 am: Reagan Thompson, who is part of the reclassifications from 2027, is officially set to join Clemson for 2026. The Georgia standout is a talented 2009 who recently announced she would sign for next year.

9:45 am: While Signing Day is focused on the current crop of club talent, the transfer portal has become a major factor in Division I soccer. Brazilian youth international Giovana Canali, an All-ACC Freshman in 2024 at Miami (FL), announced this morning that she will enter the portal. Canali tore her ACL and missed the 2025 season.

10:15 am: Twin sisters Alexa DeJoseph and Addison DeJoseph were announced as part of the TCU recruiting class. The dynamic attacking pair have provided consistent quality in club soccer over the past few years and could be Big 12 stars.

11:20 am: Illinois returned to the NCAA Tournament this fall, as first-year head coach Katie Hultin guided the Illini to a strong campaign. Two of the program's first three announced additions for 2026 are Canadian. They include Noreen Tijho (CF Montreal) and Abby Anderson (Surrey United).

11:30 am: Signing Day looks very different in men's Division I soccer, with activity stretched out a bit further. Northwestern did announce the addition of Luca Toro, a Top 200 recruit.

11:45 am: The recruiting process and differences between the men's and women's Division I game can be summed up by two top recruits committing this week in men's soccer. Christopher Salazar (FC Dallas) pledged to join Wisconsin, while Landry Moncrief (Austin FC) is heading to Penn.

11:50 am: Real Colorado star GK Elli Johnson is among the top echelon of announced signees as this point in the day. She's heading to Pittsburgh next year and has a good chance to slot in as the goalkeeper right away.

11:55 am: The Creighton men's soccer program got a jump on adding international talent for 2026. Canadian Carter Tavares has signed with the program by the way of Italian club Perugia, and Mario Albert from Valencia in Spain.

12:00 pm: ECNL side Charlotte Soccer Academy has posted a rundown of boys and girls commitments for its 2026 class.

12:20 pm: As they prepare for a Big Ten tournament semifinal, the Washington(m) men's soccer program has announced the start of its 2026 group. That includes local standout Jordan Dierks (Seattle Sounders FC) and Eture defender Nathan Chandler, who was a top player for Mustang SC in 2024-25.

12:30 pm: Currently with the No. 1 recruiting class, Notre Dame has announced its first three signings on social media for 2026.

1 pm: Virginia Development Academy has announced its 2026 class for boys and girls.

VDA Signing Day

1:10 pm: Missouri State women's programs was quick to turnaround and put out an official release for its 2026 additions.

1:30 pm: For major men's Division I programs (and a few women's) Signing Day is another deadline to pass as they wait for players with pro aspirations to decide on college or the professional ranks. South Florida will be on that list with Micah Harris, a U.S. youth national team players from Houston Dynamo. The program announced him as the first 2026 addition.

1:35 pm: With smaller rosters and the saturation of elite clubs, later commitments from smaller towns in the United States are exceedingly rare. Enter Jurnee Vrobel, from Charles Town, West Virginia, officially heading to Alabama.

1:45 pm: Several of the players from Clemson's No. 10 ranked class have been introduced. That includes No. 12 recruit Isabelle Dalke, who joins from St. Louis Scott Gallagher.

1:55 pm: The biggest breaking news of the day -- on Signing Day nevertheless -- is that Florida has announced a change of leadership in its head coach position. The recruiting implications will be interesting, to say the least, as the Gators had lined up the No. 5 recruiting class for 2026.

2 pm: While Loyola (MD) has fallen behind in a competitive Patriot League, the program has historically done well with local Maryland talent. Landon Beckman and Jeremiah McGuire are set to continue that tradition, announced as two of the team's first three signings for 2026. The third is Timi Adekunle, a defender from Tottenham Hotspur in England.

2:10 pm: Tophat SC and U.S. youth national team standout Bristol Kersh is officially joining Notre Dame after reclassifying from 2027. The wide forward/outside back is a perfect fit for an attacking wing back role in the team's 3-5-2 system. She can also slot in as a wide forward in a 4-3-3.

2:30 pm: Another top recruit from the class of 2026 has signed -- but a pro contract. Luka Sunjic, ranked in the Top 200 for the class, signed an MLS NEXT Pro contract with NYCFC II.

3 pm: As Florida State chases another national title, Ryder Ajeto is the first player announced as part of its class. The Seminoles look to have another quality group incoming.

3:30 pm: Purdue has a very intriguing group heading to campus next year. That includes a few players with youth national team experience, including Addison Feldman, a midfielder born in 2008 who reclassified earlier this year. The complete class is out, with 10 additions that have the quality to boost the program in a difficult Big Ten.

3:45 pm: With one of the top strikers in the country this fall in Daniel Lugo, High Point confirmed the addition of Nick Sarantakos for 2026. The Richmond United forward is a top forward prospect in the class.

4 pm: After missing out on the 2025 NCAA Tournament, USC has a quality class lined up. That includes one of the top goalkeepers in the class in Josie Biehl, announced as an official signing on Wednesday.

7 pm: Add Alexia Hansen to the list of players who have officially reclassified from 2027. She's heading to LSU

7:30 pm: 2024 National Champions North Carolina are now among the programs holding off signees from pro interest. That's why it makes it notable that Sealey Strawn, who had been playing for Dallas Trinity in the USL Super League, is announced as a 2026 addition. The Solar star should add attacking quality immediately. At the moment, UNC has the No. 1 recruiting class in DI soccer.

7:45 pm: Top 200 recruit Zachariah Hume is signed to join Seattle. He had previously announced a commitment to Portland. Also joining him is Aaron Leon-Bedolla, but standouts on the Crossfire Premier 08/07 ECNL team.

Nov. 13

10 am: With the window open, not all major programs were involved. Clemson men's soccer announced its first official signing earlier on Thursday.

10:30 am: Another big addition for the North Carolina women's soccer program is official. U.S. youth national team veteran Scottlyn Antonucci will still need to make it to campus, but she is a big part of the program's No. 1 recruiting class ranking.

10:45 am: Mississippi State announced the addition of Iori Watanabe, all the way from Osaka, Japan. She's one of the first international women's signees spotted thus far. And won't be the last.

11:00 am: No. 4 recruit Ayva Jordan has signed with Tennessee. The forward from Southern California has been training with the KC Current II this fall.

11:15 am: One of the best recruiting classes in women's DI soccer joins the fray, as Penn State(w) has started to reveal its 2026 additions this morning.

Nov. 14

10 am: Mateo Tsakiris, currently at the Under-17 World Cup, has signed with Clemson. The LA Galaxy Academy standout makes plenty of sense to make the jump to college, as opposed to a pro contract. The latter could still happen, of course.
