Class: 2025
Commitment: James Madison

Sun Belt side has added a top in-state to its 2025 recruiting class, as outside back Chloe Nelson recently committed to join the program.

"I decided to commit to JMU because it felt like home," she told TopDrawerSoccer. "The coaches and the team culture were big factors in my decision. JMU has a great academic reputation and a very competitive sports environment."

The school itself is familiar to Nelson, as she's spent the last four years visiting a cousin who goes to school there.

A modern style fullback, Nelson is comfortable getting forward and linking with the attack. She's part of the talented 07 team that is one of the best in the Girls Academy.

She also noted the close bond and team atmosphere she saw when visiting.

"I loved meeting the team and seeing how they all support each other," Nelson said. "It was somewhere I could really see myself fitting in."

JMU earned an at-large bid to the 2023 NCAA Tournament and has four reported commitments for the class of 2025.
