GK Laurel Ivory, Sunrise Sting U16 (FL) – Ivory place on the list was solidified by her performance in a 2-1 win. The only goal that the brick walled goalkeeper let in was a fluke one during stoppage time. She always seemed to be in great position and could kick the ball well down the field, very accurately.
D Autumn Brown, Merrick Force U16 (NY) – Brown was dominant on defense for her team in its 2-1 victory. The only goal that was scored was put in on the opposite side of the field that she was on. She was the best defender in the tournament when it came to keeping the opposition to the outside. She also had quite the foot on her, which allowed her to take the majority of her team’s free kicks.
