The ECNL Boys Northwest Conference kicked off prior to Memorial Day, and it picks up pace now that the holiday is wrapped.
From a travel perspective, it is one of the top places to play, as the clubs are all situated in Washington or Oregon. That doesn’t mean the quality isn’t notable; Crossfire Premier is a storied powerhouse in the country and won the 2008 age group this summer.
Crossfire and Seattle United are typically the dominant forces. The presence of the Sounders and Timbers in each market does pluck some of the best players into professional ranks/MLS NEXT at times.
