Here’s a look at some of the top individual performers from Sunday’s ECNL Champions League action.
GK Scout Watson, Sporting Blue Valley U17: The netminder may have conceded twice, but neither goals were really her fault in a difficult matchup with PDA. Made several impressive saves when she could, making the right decisions and possessing the reflexes and instinct to execute them.
D Julie Mackin, Real Colorado U15: The midfielder/defender popped up at several spots throughout the day, mostly on the right flank. No matter where she was, she displayed an impressive motor and ability to provide width, as Real Colorado capped off a strong three-game stretch.
