RICHMOND, Va. — Monday was one last chance for ECNL players to shine, and for those who progressed that far, on the highest stage.
With championship games taking place, the pressure was dialed up even higher, as players looked to make one final impression on scouts while also chasing silverware with their respective clubs.

Here’s a look at some of the top performances from Monday’s Champions League action:
GK Jalen Tompkins, Sereno Soccer Club U16: The goalkeeper played a massive role throughout her side’s championship triumph. Not only did she come up with some big saves in the penalty shootout win over Slammers FC, she ensured that her team would make it that far with a huge lunging save in the second extra time period.
D Sophia Dertorossian, De Anza Force U14: A massive presence at the back, the captain kept her cool at the back as PDA dialed up the pressure in the second half, disrupting De Anza’s possession game. Dertorossian stepped up to make a few vital interventions to preserve the team’s win.
