The final day of the Girls Academy Event in Florida had a rocky start with a weather delay slowing down the first slate of games. The storm passed quickly, but the teams were forced to adjust to briefly shorter halves for their final games at the IMG Academy campus.
Home team IMG Academy 06 finished off the event in fitting fashion with a victory on Tuesday over Cincinnati United Premier CUP to seal the top spot in Showcase 1. FC Bay Area 02/03 claimed the top spot in Showcase 1 for that age group after a 3-0 record at the event.
