Girls Club Soccer Player of the Week
If there’s one thing that Brianna McReynolds has shown what she can do this year, it’s score goals. It’s that knack that earns McReynolds the latest Girls Club Soccer Player of the Week award, presented by THINX.
The Los Angeles Premier Futbol Club attacker continued to find the back of the net at an impressive rate in the Development Academy. McReynolds played just 62 minutes in a 6-1 win against Lamorinda SC but found enough room in front of goal to score five times.
In the first two games of 2019, McReynolds has scored eight times. That’s boosted the Oregon State(w) recruit’s goal total to 15 from 11 games during the 2018-19 Development Academy season.
Raigen Powell earned consideration for two goals in a 3-2 win for Solar Soccer Club’s U18/19 squad. Jasmine Leshnick, from California Thorns U14, scored three goals including the game-winner in a 4-3 win over Beach FC.
