With a National Event in North Carolina with hundreds of college scouts finally in attendance, the first weekend of June was noteworthy for a major reason. The college recruiting dead period is over and the time to amp up recruiting efforts is here now.

ECNL was not the only league in action over the weekend. There were some big games in the Girls Academy League. TSJ FC Virginia had an impressive weekend as the club locked up a handful of spots in the playoffs. Utah Royals FC-AZ 04 claimed a big win in the Southwest Conference.
