There was another Showcase event over the weekend as ECNL hosted a U13/U14showcase in North Carolina over the weekend. The youngest age groups of the league were in the spotlight as teams got their first look at some out of conference competition.
“It’s great to see other good competition at events like this,” PDA Blue 07 head coach Larry Hart told the ECNL after Friday’s game. “You come down here to events like this to learn. We learned some strengths and some weaknesses today, and when you play quality teams like Jacksonville FC, that’s what you want to do, to learn. And we’ll hopefully keep learning throughout the weekend.”
PDA finished the event with three wins and remained perfect on the season.
