Only a few more weeks remain in the girls club season, as the push towards the playoffs hits the final stretch.

Here’s a look at some of the standouts submitted from the past weekend of action.

Challenge SC 06 ECNL – Challenge SC had a make-up game against Albion Hurricanes U17 on Wednesday, May 3. Their last meeting, just a few weeks ago, was a tight one. Challenge controlled most of the game but Albion made adjustments and came roaring back. Brianna Carrigan opened up scoring from a beautifully placed cross from Madeline Talkington. Brianna added a brace after a deflection in the box. Challenge’s defense and keeper held it down in the back and weathered the storm. Over the weekend, Challenge faced Sting Austin. On a windy morning, both sides had trouble controlling the ball for durations of the game. Talkington opened the scoring off of a free kick from Savannah Knight. Challenge went into the half 1-0. The away team came out in the second half very aggressive, putting pressure on Sting's defense and keeper. Brynn Baldon connected on a through ball to Melanie Oldner who put it in the back of the net and put Challenge up 2-0. Chloe Burst assisted on the last goal to Anaiyah Robinson, who went around the goalie and walked the ball in the net.

FC Pride 04/05 ECNL – FC Pride had a four-point weekend. Brianna Buels had six goals, scoring hat tricks in both games, plus adding an assist. Mia Winters also had a goal and an assist. Lucia Johnson, Caroline Kelly and Avery Ledo also had great service on the goals.

PDA Blue 07 ECNL – PDA continued its push forward this past weekend with wins over FC Delco and FC Bucks. On Saturday, Casey Phair netted all five goals as they blanked FC Delco 5-0. The midfield rotation of Eva Wierzbowski, Riley Cross, Sydney Krempasky and Gabriella Sanchez continues to break lines and execute in transition. Gabrielle Baker and Lorelai Davis kept the clean sheet. On Sunday, they took care of FC Bucks’, winning 2-0. PDA faces Match Fit next weekend as the ECNL winds down and they push toward preparation for the ECNL National Playoffs.

Racing Louisville 06 ECNL – Racing Louisville went 2-0 over the weekend. On Saturday, Racing Louisville battled FC Alliance for a 2-1 victory. After being down 1-0 at the half, the defense hung tough behind the play of Ava Hendrick, Payton Guarascio, Ava Wilson, Adison Welsh and Arkansas commit Audrey King. Tate Blincoe moved from the back line to the forward position and scored a timely goal to tie it up. Shortly after Eva Blackman found the back of the net to make it a final of 2-1. Goalie Ameerah Maamry made several key saves and strong midfield play from EKU commit Josie McRae helped preserve the victory. On Sunday, Racing Louisville again came from behind to defeat a very tough Tennessee Soccer club team 3-2. Audrey King struck first in the front of the goal to tie it at 1-1. After falling behind 2-1, Caitlin Chase was fouled in the box and converted on the penalty kick to tie it up at 2-2. Chase then picked up an assist with a cross to Campbell Tippey for the goal to make it a 3-2 win. Racing Goalie and Cincinnati commit Amber Brandon made a number of timely saves throughout the game.

East Meadow SC 06 ECNL – East Meadow won two big games over the weekend beating Scorpions SC 3-2 on Saturday and FSA 7-1 on Sunday. On Saturday Jordana Bello had two goals and Jaylen Vallecillo had the other goal. On Sunday, Bello had three goals and an assist, Vallecillo had two goals and an assist, Julianna Bivona and Avary Bourbin added a goal each and Kailey McCormick had two assists.

PDA Blue 06 ECNL – PDA 06s went 2-0 this weekend and remain undefeated in the North Atlantic Conference. The PDA squad travel to FC Delco on Saturday and came out with a strong 3-1 win. PDA went down 1-0 in the first five minutes, but came together and controlled the remainder of the game. Addison Halpern received a pass from Jordana DeNegri to tie the game 20 minutes later. Just before the half Addison Halpern sent a free kick into the six-yard box that was finished by outside back Jayme Malanda. Malanda has really stepped up and made a presence for PDA Blue this season. Addison Halpern then scored her second of the game in the second half off a great pass from Katerina Loncar.  Claudia Volino kept a clean sheet for PDA in the second half.

PDA Blue didn’t let down on Sunday with a 3-0 win over FC Bucks. Katerina Loncar opened up the scoring for PDA off a pass from Ainsley Moy. Loncar has been on the score sheet consistently for PDA this season. Addison Halpern kept the scoring going in the first half from a pass from Jordana DeNegri.  Halpern scored her second of the game in the second half from a pass from Alexia Garcia.  Halpern took a touch and rocketed a left footed shot into the side panel of the goal.  Claudia Volino and Gia D'Alessio continue to keep clean sheets in the goal for PDA.

San Juan SC 08 ECNL – Gabrielle Ferraro scored and setup both of Savannah Leifried’s goals in a 4-0 win over Davis Legacy.

LAFC So Cal 05/04 ECNL – LAFC opened the weekend with a 4-1 win over Slammers FC. Kailey Supa opened the scoring from an assist by Madison Foxhoven. The latter scored the second, setup by Francesca Khachatourians. Alexis Nguyen and Julie Lopez rounded out the scoring, while Jamie Campbell played the full 90 in goal. Supa, Izabella Munoz and Ava Dermott accounted for the goals on Sunday in a 3-0 win over Heat FC. Campbell had the clean sheet in goal.

Sting Dallas Black 07 ECNL – Sting Black faced off against one of the toughest opponents in the Texas Conference this last weekend. As always it was a physical battle that after the first half expired was knotted up at 0-0. The defense did a stellar job at keeping the talented FC Dallas team under control. The defense standouts were Kelby Dansby, Clara Dowdle, Mackenzie Mize and Riley Hewitt. In the end the teams ended in a 1-1 tie with Goals from Riley Hewitt for Sting and Holly Storer for FCD.

Internationals SC 05/04 ECNL – Emma Stransky scored two goals and Grace Jackson had a goal and an assist in a 3-2 win vs Ohio Premier U19s. Eleanor Klinger scored two goals in a 3-2 win vs. Kings Hammer U19s to finish the weekend on Sunday. Imani Kissi had one goal. Addy Cusick and Kayla Perfect each had one assist.
 
World Class FC 05/04 ECNL – The World CLass 05s clinched the New England U18/19 Conference Title with a clean sweep over the U18/19 FC Stars ECNL Blue and White teams, while not allowing a single goal all weekend. On Saturday, World Class defeated FC Stars Blue for a second time this season with a 3-0 win. Goalkeepers Sydney Ferst and Jillian Fox were a force to be reckoned with denying FC Stars any goals throughout the weekend. The defense led by Izzy Boodell, Marissa Graziano, Julia Palitti, Liv Vilella and Vanessa Wolf was impenetrable all game long not allowing the attacking players many opportunities on goal. The first goal of the game came early on a corner kick into the box which was cleared by a FC Stars player outside of the box landing right at Isabella Winn’s feet who strategically shot it into the upper right corner giving the team a 1-0 lead. Vanessa Wolf made a crisp pass to Claire Hutton later in the game who fired off a perfect shot into the upper right giving World Class a 2-0 lead at the half. The final goal of the game happened in the second half when Claire Hutton connected with Isabella Winn in the box who deftly shot in the upper right past a defender and the goalie capping the score at 3-0. Wingers Ella Cho, Isabel DiPrima and Megan Twomey worked extraordinarily well with midfielders Abby Daly, Hannah Shapiro and Sofia Romero to create the numerous scoring opportunities that led to the goals. Sunday, once again, saw World Class dominating the offensive part of the field with a 4-0 win over FC Stars White. The scoring started early with Megan Twomey making a short pass to Ella Cho outside the box who made a perfect shot right past the goalie’s fingertips to open up the scoring. Claire Hutton took advantage of an errant pass by the defense to score the next goal with a shot outside of the box. Isabel DiPrima next capitalized on a pass from Claire Hutton to put a goal in the lower right.  The last goal was set-up by Isabella Winn who deftly crossed a ball into Claire Hutton who was running into the box to score another goal. A strong first place finish for this World Class FC ECNL U18/19 team caps off an amazing ECNL career for all the players.
 
Maddie Smith, SJEB FC 07 GA – Montgomery Draham and Maddie Smith each scored for SJEB FC 07 GA in a 2-2 draw with PA Classics. SJEB is now 8-2-3 in the GA Mid-Atlantic Conference.
 
Penn Fusion 06 ECNL – Penn Fusion beat Bethesda 3-1 with goals by Carolyne Hinkle, Angelena Deluhery, and Brooke Vogel. Bethesda’s goal was scored by Anne Faraone.

Dallas Texans 06 ECNL – The Texans played to a 1-1 tie with DKSC on Sunday. Juliana Chavez found the back of the net off of an assist from Annabel Callahan. Leslie Razo, Erin O'Sullivan, Samantha Quiroz and Halin Griffith contributed with strong performances on the pitch for the Texans.
 
Sporting Delaware 06 GA – Delaware cruised to a 6-0 win over Metro United 06 GA. Goals were scored by Desiree' Zapata (three goals), Gabby Riley (two goals) and Claire Zimmermann (one goal). The shutout was led by Emily Ehresmann and Jazmin Bailey in goal with Mary Kate Walker and Haley Lewinski providing solid defense.
