The girls club soccer leagues are heading toward the final few weeks of the regular season. The ECNL playoffs kick off on June 30 in Florida. The draw for the event will be on June 21 on the ECNL YouTube channel.

With only 32 spots available in the Champions League playoffs for the U15-U17 age groups and 29 spots given to automatic qualifiers, there are going to be some tight battles and nervous waits over the next few weeks as the final results of the season start to trickle in.

In the Girls Academy League, 21 spots are given to automatic qualifiers with an additional 11 spots for wildcard teams for the U15-U17 age groups. The Girls Academy League playoffs are scheduled to kick off on June 23 in Oceanside, California.

IMG picked up a big win in the 06 age group over the weekend in the GA. IMG’s win over Weston clinched the top spot in the Southeast and a spot in the playoffs for the squad. IMG will be well-represented at the GA playoffs as the club’s 04 squad also looks like one of the top contenders at that level.

TDS highlights the individual standouts from those games and plenty of others from last weekend in girls club soccer below. If you would like to recommend a player for the weekly standouts list, please email [email protected].
