A shot-stopper from Arizona who isn’t afraid of coming for a cross and challenging attackers in one-on-one situations, Alyssa Navarrete found the demanding environment she was searching for on and off the field at a Big East program across the country.
“It was really important for me to attend a university that would challenge me to excel both in the classroom and on the field,” she told TopDrawerSoccer. “Georgetown does just that. They have a rich, world-renowned tradition of academic excellence and a winning women's soccer program. I am very excited for the opportunity to be a Georgetown Hoya.”
