The Girls Development Academy was in action over the weekend, and there were a number of games across the country in the U.S. Soccer-run league. However, they seem secondary in the soccer world following the tragic news of Schyler Herman’s passing last week following a 13-month battle with leukemia.
Fellow goalkeeper Jamie Campbell, a member of the Real So Cal Academy, contacted TopDrawerSoccer about the news. Campbell is participating in a school event called ‘Walk for a Cause’ on Tuesday in remember of Herman.
