A case of tired legs seemed to hit most of the teams in the first half of the games. For most teams, second half is where they finally scored.

Legends FC 97 2-2 Boise Nationals Italia (U-16)
It ended with a tie, but this game was probably one of the closest games. Both teams started out slow in the first half. Slow start or not, both teams had a very strong defense. This was proven with Boise’s Brooke Felzien and Madison Watts. Legends forward Kaitlyn Jones proved to be the team’s best player. Legends’ Jones scored the two goals for her team in the second half. Despite how well Legend’s played, they did suffer two injuries that resulted in both players unable to play the remainder of the game.
Just one minute after Legends’ Jones scored the second goal for her team, Watts came in with Boise’s second goal. In a desperate attempt to break the tie, Legends picked up pace but it wasn’t enough to get a tiebreaker.
Beadling Thunder 1-0 Legends 95 (U-18)
Tough game for the Legends and Beadling as both team’s had very close scoring opporunities in the first half. Legends kept good control of the ball while Beadlings defense was on point. During the second half, Legends and Beadling were becoming visually upset; so much so that the Beadling girls were becoming aggressive against the Legends’. With Beadling's goalie tumbling over Legends’ players, forward Amanda Ball took the most falls and fumbles during the game.
It seems like the aggressiveness helped Beadling during the second half because in the 70th minute, forward Eleni Carr scored the only goal of the game.
Eastside FC 98 Red 3-0 Surf Academy (U-15)
The beginning of the game seemed promising for Surf Academy, despite East scoring three minutes into the game. Spirits were still high for Surf until forward Makaylie Moore scored a second goal twenty-eight minutes into the first half. Even with Surf Academy’s good defense, they weren’t able to get any goals in the first half. With low spirits, they went into the second half a little less energetic.
Forty-one minutes into the second half forward Jojo Harber scored the third and final goal of the game.
