Today we take a look at the U13, U14 and U15 Boys in our monthly Grande Sports Academy TeamRank Top 25 update. Keep following us throughout the season as we track the best teams in the country.

State cup, National League resumes at U13
No. 1 New York Red Bulls picked up right where they left off in November, earning another win, this time against No. 18 Bethesda-Olney, to extend its perfect record in the Northeast Pre-Academy League and remain the top team in the Grande Sports Academy TeamRank Top 25.
Southern California concluded state cup play for the youngest age groups, and Pateadores IER took home the hardware as CS National Cup champions after a penalty kick shootout. Pats forward Jonathan Morales scored four of the team’s six goals in the final knockout rounds, and helped his team climb from No. 4 to No. 2.
New No. 1 Vardar raced out of the gate to start its spring season in the Development Academy with a resounding 9-0 victory over Indiana Fire, improving its record to 13-0-1. The win included a hat trick from IMG Academy 150 standout Matthew Mielnicki, whose performance helped exact a little revenge on the team that earned a 1-1 draw against them last November and kept Vardar from a perfect season.
New England Revolution climbs into the top ten at No. 9 after earning a 4-0 win against Albertson to improve its record to 8-2. The Revs victory came without the use of IMG Academy Class of 2018 standout midfielder Amos Shapiro-Thompson (No. 27) or left back Connor Haskell (No. 64). Haskell was in Florida with the U.S. U15 Boys National Team.

USYS National League concludes at U15
The top three teams of No. 1 United FA Premier, new No. 2 Fullerton Rangers White, and new No. 3 South Carolina United FC 99 Elite, finished US Youth Soccer National League play with identical 5-1-1 records and all earned bids, along with No. 4 Arlington SA Eagles Red, to the 2015 USYS National Championships. Members of United FA and SCUFC will spend the spring playing high school soccer, while the Rangers and Arlington will continue on in regional leagues for the next couple of months.
Alliance FC Pro 18 also improved its ranking based on National League play, ticking up a notch into the top ten after finishing the season fifth in the blue division. Alliance earned a key 4-1 victory over now No. 6 Sporting KC Academy to help lift it to No. 10. Regional standout Eric Conerty earned a TopDrawerSoccer Best XI nod for his performance on the weekend, finishing the season with seven goals, the second most in the league.

Grande Sports Academy TeamRank Top 25 is the comprehensive team-ranking system devised by TopDrawerSoccer.com to provide an objective and common-sense approach to determining which elite youth soccer teams are the best in the nation.
The rankings, updated monthly, are primarily results-based, with a nod toward the league and championship competitions that emulate how excellence is determined in leading soccer nations around the world.
Tournaments are also included but at a reduced value due to the many mitigating factors involving such events, including attrition and guest players.
A final layer of executive evaluation is provided to account for variables that often impact results, thus ensuring that the monthly lists are not subjective, but are not purely mechanical.
