The second-to-last update to the 2025 Girls Club Soccer Player Rankings, presented by IMG Academy, arrived last week.
It’s an interesting time of the year for the class. The movement of players to the professional ranks continued, with a few signings since the last update ahead of the NWSL season.
College remains the first port of call for the majority of players, despite the trend. Several players have already graduated in December, dotting spring rosters and getting early competition under their belts.
A small handful of seniors have played or are set to play in high school soccer this spring. The emergence of the USL Women’s Super League also offers a platform for players to get pro experience with the USL Academy contract program.
