Jaclyn next in long line of great DiMartinos
December 24, 2009
With 2010 on the horizon it’s as good a time as any to look into the future.
Well into the future. Like say, 2013.
Here are some of the brightest young prospects from the 2013 birth year on the girls’ side. Trust us when we say, you’ll be hearing from these young ladies in no time. Wait … you already are.
Jaclyn, aka Rosie, seems fit to take a similar path if she so chooses. In August she got her first taste of U.S. national camp, and it most certainly will not be her last as her game continues to take shape for Albertson SC.
Teammate Sydney Arestivo, is another major player with good striking ability. Arestivo faired well at the ODP Interregional in Florida last month with her skills around the goal.
On what is a stacked Albertson SC squad, notable players amongst the group also include Julia DiMaria, Amanda Rooney, Erica Sousa, Stephanie Paloscio and Pamela Wishart.
If you’re looking for a young starlet in net, look no further than Empire United SA’s Brenna Mason. Mason was also called into last months ODP Interregionals in Florida and has good hands and a good understanding of the game at such a young age.
One of Mason’s key teammates is Jessica Holmes, a quick and shifty forward who has select team experience and is already eyeing some elite schools for her promising future.
Zoe Clark, of HBC-ISA, is a versatile central midfielder. She played on the backline and held her own during the recent ODP tour.

Jaclyn DiMartino – Call her DiMartino 2.0. She’s the newest version of the DiMartino clan – a family of sisters who all excel in this game. She is following in the footsteps of older sisters Tina, Gina and Vicki. They all make national teams, play at big-time colleges and possess special soccer savvy.
