Friday marks the start of this year's MLS NEXT Flex competition, as the field for the playoffs will be set.
Sixteen group of four will pit teams against one another. In the Under-16 age group, it is a chance to compete in front of college coaches ahead of the class of 2026 recruiting window opening.
