Our continued look at the signing classes across the country takes us to a few men's programs you should keep an eye on.

Maryland

Signees: Keith Cardona (New York Red Bulls), Daniel Metzger (New York Red Bulls), Kyle Roach (New York Red Bulls), Alex Shinsky (U.S. National Team), Jordan Tatum (McLean Academy).
Skinny: Stout group of players coming in for the Terrapins. How good? Well, they have our No. 1 prospect in the country in Alex Shinsky along with No. 14 Metzger and No. 63 Roach. Cardona is a Top 100 type talent who has been one of the top goalkeepers in the Development Academy for a few years now.

San Francisco

Signees: Miguel Aguilar (Capital Athletic Soccer Academy Boca), Ludwig Gamp (Bayreuth, Germany), Danny Kirkland (Sheffield, England), Kyle Macleod (Irvine Strikers), David Romney (Irvine Strikers), Brian Visser (San Jose Earthquakes Academy)
Skinny: The Dons may be developing a reputation as the place for strong international recruits. Last year, the women’s team was led by two major impact players from Norway, in Hanna Haanes and Christina Moberg, and now the men’s team has welcomed its own imports with Germany’s Ludwig Gamp and England’s Danny Kirkland.

San Francisco will bring in stateside talent as well: Macleod is a good attacker and Romney a strong attacker, both coming by way of the Irvine Strikers.

Northwestern

Signees: Peter Beasley (Chicago Fire), Nikko Boxall (New Zealand), Peter Horner (Elm Grove Soccer Club), Ryan Ivancic (Ohio Premier), Jagger Martinez (Clearwater Chargers), Tyler Miller (Pittsgrove SC), Eric Weberman (Michigan Wolves), Grant Wilson (KCFC)

Peter Beasley

Skinny: A nice sized class with a mix of skill sets. Beasley is a strong defender for the Chicago Fire who has been one of the standouts in the Development Academy. Boxall, whose older brother is former UCSB player Michael Boxall, brings international experience. Martinez is a player the Wildcats have to be excited about. He has the potential to be special and plays with great pace and technique.

“He is very smooth and pacey left-sided player who mixes up his speed very well,” said coach Tim Lenahan, on the team’s website. “Jagger has a knack for making big plays which will serve him well in making the adjustment to college soccer.”

SMU

Signees: Alexander Blanton (Brentwood Premier), No. 87 Devin Cook (Lonestar SC), Emmet Kumeh (Solar SC), No. 38 Aaron Simmons (Dallas Texans), Will Smith (NYSA Celtic)
Skinny: The Mustangs have done well by picking up a couple of Top 100 players in Simmons (No. 38) and Cook (No. 87). Simmons is a dynamic midfielder with play-making ability while Cook is a 6-foot-2 goalkeeper who brings a hard-working mentality to the net. Blanton is also a goalkeeper, and a winner, while Kumeh and Smith will bring attacking ability.
