Shaw Bags First Goal in Professional Debut
Less than two weeks after officially turning pro, Jaedyn Shaw scored her first pro goal on Saturday.
Making her debut in the starting lineup for San Diego Wave FC, the 17-year-old's 27th minute goal made it a dream beginning to her professional career. It turned out to be the winning goal, as San Diego held on for a 1-0 win against Chicago Red Stars.

Ranked No. 2 in the 2023 Girls IMG Academy National Player Ranking, Shaw is set to play for the U.S. U20 WNT at this year's World Cup. After making her debut over the weekend, Shaw should join up with her U20 teamamtes in Costa Rica shortly. The U20 World Cup kicks off on August 10 for the United States.
