Most U.S. youth national team coaches have plenty of time to get their feet wet before the big challenges on the international stage approach.
For new U.S. U17 Women’s National Team head coach B.J. Snow, he barely had a minute to catch his breath before he was taking charge of the squad in its first international friendly.
The former UCLA head coach took over the U17 WNT program last month with two friendlies against Germany in his first camp. The U.S. youth side ended with a pair of draws from those games.
Since then, Snow has had some time to adjust to the challenges ahead.
