The U.S. Under-18 Men’s National Team will take on Morocco on March 22 and Norway on March 25 during a training camp in Marbella, Spain from March 17-25.

Players born on or after Jan. 1, 2007 are age-eligible for this one-year U-18 MNT cycle and all 20 players called to Spain were born in 2007. All players are age-eligible for the 2025 FIFA U-20 World Cup and this age group will form the core of the team that will attempt to qualify for the 2027 U-20 World Cup.

Former Philadelphia Union II head coach Marlon LeBlanc will lead the U-18 MNT as head coach for this training camp. He spent the last five years with Union II, guiding the team to an Eastern Conference championship in MLS NEXT Pro last season. LeBlanc earned his U.S. Soccer Pro License in 2022. Former FC Dallas assistant Kevin Martinez, former New England Revolution assistant and U-15 Boys’ National Team head coach Clint Peay and former Atlanta United FC goalkeeper coach Liam Curran will serve as LeBlanc’s assistants for the camp.

Thirteen Major League Soccer clubs are represented on the roster, led by two players each from Atlanta United FC, Inter Miami CF, LA Galaxy and Orlando City SC. Three players are based abroad- RB Leipzig forward Dino Klapija in Germany, Brighton Hove Albion forward Darius Lane in England and Lyon midfielder Axel Perez in France.

ADDITIONAL NOTES

  • The players hail from 10 different states, led by six from Florida.
  • The U-18s were last in action at the 26th International Youth Football Tournament in Japan this past September. Twelve players return from that roster: Andrew Baiera, Zackory Campagnolo, Justin Ellis, Colin Guske, Aiden Hezarkhani, Darius Lane, Jose Magana Jr., Harbor Miller, Santiago Morales, Axel Perez, Neil Pierre and Daniel Pinter.
  • Ellis netted two goals at the competition, while Baiera, Ellis and Hezarkhani also scored.
  • Eight players are signed to MLS Homegrown contracts: Baiera, Guske, Hezarkhani, Magana Jr., Miller, Morales, Tyson Pearce and Pierre.
  • Campagnolo and Morales represented the U.S. at the 2023 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Indonesia, helping the team reach the knockout stage before falling to eventual champion Germany.
