Uncommitted Highlights: Sara Engels
With the NCAA ban on Division I recruiting events extended through the end of the year, there are going to be limited opportunities for players to compete in front of coaches.
TopDrawerSoccer will seek to feature highlights of players from around the country looking to latch on with a college soccer program. If you are interested in being featured, please check out the details on how to submit information and video to [email protected].
This week's featured player is Sara Engels, a left-footed midfielder from the Houston Dash's 02/03 team in the Girls Academy League. She is capable of playing as a left back, center back, forward or holding midfielder.
"Sara's ability to read the game and make the correct decision with the ball is one of her many strengths," Dash GA Director, Mark Gibbs, said. "She possesses excellent composure on the ball, which allows her to break lines in possession, and bring her teammates into the game. Her passing range is excellent and her left foot compliments her overall game."
