With the 2020 high school/club season on hold, we thought it was an excellent time to spotlight those who want to find a college match. Below are the players of which we have received information.

Shawn Chacko, NY, 5-11/165, RB/CB/M, CD Almunecar City in Spain/Met Oval/Pateadores -- Originally committed to Cal Poly, the 19-year-old back/mid opted for a yar in Spain to play for CD Almunecar City to gain European experience. He is on the transfer portal. Nicolas Giannola, NY, 5-9, F/M/RB, Albertson Fury, [St. Anthony's ny-m] (N.Y.) -- College Interest: Fordham, Hofstra, Adelphi, Fairfield (already accepted to Hofstra and Adelphi). Been in touch with Fordham, waiting to see about acceptance. A leader on the field, always gives teammates positive communication. Makes sure that every time he steps off the field he put in 100 percent at all times. Strengths are speed, taking on defenders while getting to goal, and winning the ball back as soon as team loses it. Video Highlights. Patrick Hinkeldey, MD, 5-8/138, OM/OB/CB, OBGC Rangers Blue 2002/[Magruder md-m] (Md.) -- Seeking a Division I, II or III opportunity in the Southeast or Mid-Atlantic region. Medium or large school. Currently open minded, willing to communicate with any coach that would like to talk. He is very quick and explosive with and without the ball, allowing him to attack and defend with success. His stronger side is his left foot, but he is able to use his right foot to keep the defenders guessing and it allows him to pass and shoot with both feet. He plays multiple positions in the midfield and defense, which makes him a versatile player and can stay on the field longer. Highlight Video. Dean Hughes, VA, D, McLean Hotspur -- Played for Jamil Walker's national championship-winning club team. Hughes is a four-time Virginia State Cup champion, national champion, and regional champion. After getting injured during the fall of 2018, he was told that he would likely sit out his freshman year. Instead, he took a gap year (after graduating from [Langley va-m] (Va.) in 2019, and is now stronger than he was before he was injured. PJ Kloska, NY, 5-10, CM, East Islip PSG/[Sayville ny-m] (N.Y.) -- Looking to attend a Division II or Division III program in the Northeast or Mid-Atlantic regions. He has visited a few schools open to other options. A physical, smart simple technical player who reads the field extremely well. A grinder with a high work rate. Nick Mayronne, MD, 5-9/150, CB/RB, Maryland United/Good Counsel (Md.) -- Interested in NCAA Division I schools. Has good vision and grit. Good 1v1 defending. Good passing range and distribution. Brian McDaid, PA, 5-11/163, CDM/CB, Penn Fusion/Shipley School (Pa.) -- Brian played for FC Continental (Now FC Delco) Development Academy from 2015 until 2019 and switched over to Penn Fusion ECNL in 2019. He is a strong tackler and passer as a CDM for Penn Fusion and he plays CB for The Shipley School. Brian is a very technical CB/CDM. The best part of his game is his range of passing as well as his defensive abilities. Brian can beat players in the air who are taller than him because he reads the flight of the ball so well and he is fearless. Brian has played a CB in both a back 4 and a back 3. Brian has captained his Shipley team since sophomore year. Brian was a three-time All-Friends League and three-time All-Main Line first team recipient, and Shipley's MVP in both 2018 and 2019 seasons. Highlight Video. Ftsum Michael, VA, 6-0, 170, M, WVU/Louisburg College -- Michael is a left-footed unsigned midfielder who started his career at WVU, transfered to Louisburg College and is now looking to return to a four-year program. He was receiving interest but that slowed when the pandemic hit. At Louisburg, he helped the NJCAA Division I power to a No. 5 national ranking by the coches and a No. 6 RPI ranking behind a one-loss regular season. Michael is on the Dean’s List and is part of the Honors College, National Society of Leadership and Service, and the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. He attended St. John Paul the Great Catholic High School (Va.) and played for BRYC 00 Elite and the ECNL 99s. He scored 11 goals and had 10 assists in his senior season. He competed in the National League for two years with BRYC and was part of a club team that won nationals in 2017. He has three years of eligibilty remaining. Leandro Ribeiro, CT, 5-11, GK, [Putnam Science Academy ct-m] (Conn.) -- Team captain and starter for PSA, which ended the year ranked No. 6 in the TDS Prep Top 10 . Ribeiro, from Brazil, is a 2020 grad but is considering a PG year. His top accomplishments are winning Golden Glove honors at the Rede Ball Cup, which is an international cup with several recognized South American club teams, and MVP for Rei Pele Cup, a state cup in which he allowed two goals in eight matches. He played in two club teams of the first division of Brazil National League: Esporte Clube Bahia (four years) and Esporte Clube Vitoria. He played for a team in the first division of the state of Rio de Janeiro: Esporte Clube Tigres do Brasil (one year). He also played one year with Esporte Clube Jacuipense. Knut Lundstrom Svahnqvist, MA, 6-2/175, CM/M, Paterna C.F U23 (Spanish Club 2019-20)/Bolts ECNL/DA (2018-19 in USA) -- Played full season in Spain playing competitive men's soccer after graduating from [Lexington ma-m] (Mass.) High School in 2019. 3.2 GPA, 1260 SAT. Looking for a competitive Division I school, public or private, and location is not a big concern. Far along in the process with one Division I competitive school, no offer though. Would like to study broadcasting or journalism, but not tied to those majors if the potential school didn't offer those. As a Player, intelligent, determined, vocal and passionate player. Always looking to learn and get better, and enjoys the process of working hard to continue to develop in a game he truly loves, also disciplined and mature. Kwadjo Kodie Tannor, VA, 5-9, OB, Richmond United/[Midlothian va-m] (Va.) -- Preferably instate (Virginia) however open to anywhere. Open minded about schools may take a gap semester/year if necessary. Kwadjo Tannor is a quality outside back who is exceptional at 1v1 defending but can play in a number of positions. His athleticism allows him to join or start the attack making him a threat in the attacking third as well. Kwadjo started in a DA academy featured game and has played with multiple DI athletes. He's even played against a number of U.S National Team players, including the likes of Griffin Yow Adam Armor, Dantouma Toure, Travion Sousa, and Moses Nyeman. Video Highlights. Brendan Werner, PA, 6-4, GK, Philadelphia SC/Philadelphia Academy Charter (Pa.) -- Seeking NCAA Division I, II or III opportunities. Deven Wightman, MD, M, [Lackey md-m] (Md.) -- A center mid who is well along in the process and getting offers, but was reaching out to maybe get a Division II or I opportunity, even as a walk-on. Currently exploring options in the U.K., and that's probably where he will go. He has a walk-on offer from Tiffin, and that's the highest NCAA offer at this point, as well as several NAIA opportunities. NCSA account.
