US Youth Nationals: Drama on day 3
FRISCO, Texas – Group play is officially done at the US Youth Soccer National Championships here. Which means the real knockout fun is about to begin.
But first, we have to take a look at the standout performers on the road there.

Thursday represented the final group day of action for the 96 enterprising teams here to book their spots in their respective U13-U20 knockout rounds. For some, Thursday simply represented a chance to finish strong after being knocked out on Wednesday. For most of the rest, it was an opportunity to continue the forward momentum and strike out with more positive impressions for the bevy of scouts on hand.
