2018 NWSL Mock Draft: First Round

Change is afoot in the NWSL, with another new team and a new round of players set to join the league during Thursday's NWSL College Draft.
Speculation is rampant about how the draft might unfold, especially with Stanford midfielder Andi Sullivan yet to officially be included on the draft eligilbe lift. The consensus top pick, if she ends up staying out of the fray, it could drastically alter the first round.

Regardless, with three teams hold six of the 10 first round picks, trades are inevitable as teams try and figure out the best options on the day. Below is a sample of how the first round might unfold. For the purpose of this exercise, Sullivan is included in the draft list.
