5 Rangers Named to RMAC All-Conference
Colorado Springs, Colorado: The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference has announced this seasons All-Conference performers and the Regis women's soccer team has earned five spots; two first team, one second team, and two honorable mentions selections.
A repeat selection in junior forward Sid Otto (Highlands Ranch, Colorado) as she collects her second RMAC First Team award; her first came in the 2013 season. Her offensive performances throughout this season have helped the Rangers to advance as the No. 3 seed in the upcoming conference tournament. Otto leads the team with 13 points from five goals and three assists; of her five goals, three have been game-winners.
Also earning RMAC First Team honors is freshman defender Maggie Saras (Boise, Idaho). She has consistently made a large impact since her arrival to Regis. The freshman has started and played in all 18 games this season in the Ranger back-line. In addition to her defensive contributions, she has also netted three goals and two assists; of her three goals, all were game-winners.
Defender Danielle Dageenakis (Longmont, Colorado) was named to the RMAC Second Team, her second time receiving this award. She has lead the Ranger defensive line helping them post seven shutouts on the year. The junior has started in and played in all 18 games thus far.
Other notable Ranger selections to the RMAC Honorable Mention Team is senior midfielder Kiki Arnold (Boulder, Colorado) and sophomore forward Cat Anger (Rochester, Michigan).
